What is Cipomox 250 ?

Cipmox 250 Capsule is a medicine which is an antibiotic. It is taken by mouth for treatment of multiple throat, lung and ear infections as well as infections of the nasal, urinary tract and dermatological systems; Also in combination with other medicines for the eradication of Helicobacter pylori, the germ which causes peptic ulcers. It does not work against any virus or any fungal induced diseases or infections.

Direction of use and Side effects

Cipmox 250 Capsule may cause diarrhea, stomach pain, headache, weakness, nausea, vomiting. Make an appointment with your physician whenever either of the side effects appears to worsen or does not go away after completion of the medicine. Use of this drug is contraindicated for any known hypersensitivity to it and it should also be stopped in case of an adaptive response to the drug such as a skin rash, itches or blisters, face swelling, lips swelling etc. If you have ever been allergic to penicillin, inform the physician.

Cipmox 250 mg can be administered with food or without food and in the same hour every day to achieve maximum efficiency. Take the tablet completely without chewing or crushing it. Regardless of how well you feel, complete the entire course of antibiotics as instructed by your physician.

Warning and Precaution

Cipmox 250 Capsule has also been used in patients with kidney, liver and heart diseases but with caution. There is a possibility that Cipmox 250 MG Tablet also decreases the efficiency of birth control pills. Hence, other methods of avoiding unplanned pregnancy may have to be employed.

While taking Cipmox 250 Capsule, one may need to adjust their medication routine. Please, do inform your physician about any other medications you are on, besides this tablet. Also notify your physician if there is a probability of you conceiving or if you are breastfeeding before taking this medication.
